Organizational Transition - Moving to Teams: Consulting services are available to support an organization's transition to a team-based environment. The process includes an initial session with Senior Management to identify organizational goals, driving forces which are indicating a need to change, commitment to the change and an assessment of the major systems needed to support the transition. Also available are project management capabilities to support this type of initiative, as well as specific interpersonal, leadership, management and process improvement training for all levels of the organization required for an organization to move successfully to teams.
Strategic Planning: A facilitated 1-2 day process which includes guiding a group (or a team) toward the development of their business or function. Initial emphasis (if needed) is placed on helping the group develop a vision, mission and operating guidelines. The group then identifies their key business objectives as well as their primary products and services, further defining their mission and purpose. Activities are them used to identify major suppliers and customers and the requirements or expectations of each one. Based on that data, the group is guided to agreement on priorities, which lead to overarching Strategic goals, followed by the creation of supporting Tactical goals. An action plan is created to establish a "roadmap" for the group to follow in the coming weeks, months and possibly years.
Performance Management Consulting: Many training and development or human resource organizations are expected to operate more proactively, functioning more than ever before as internal consultants to their business partners. These services assist just such an organization or department by defining the current and future roles of participants, identifying the business objectives they support and exploring the expectations of their key business partners. Expected outcomes include learning a more effective, business-oriented approach to consulting as business partners, enabling the participants to better identify specific business, environmental, performance management and training and development needs of their workforce. Once these needs are identified, sorted and validated, participants will be better positioned to make accurate, business-focused recommendations for results.
